We started on Chester-le-Street’s High Street, determined to create a haven for geek culture in County Durham. What started as an empty shell is now the town’s premier geek store & event space. Today, you’ll find shelves overflowing with Funko Pop! figures, Warhammer miniatures, and retro video game classics alongside the latest Marvel, Star Wars, and anime merch—and every week night, our loyal community gathers for Pokémon TCG pre-release events, Warhammer painting workshops, and D&D Adventures, Guided by a team of knowledgeable staff who remember every player’s favorite deck or mini, Chester le Geek has become more than a shop: it’s a home for board games, trading card games, and all things nerdy, where every purchase earns loyalty points toward exclusive promo cards, store credit, and event discounts—and where every newsletter subscriber gets first dibs on limited-edition Loungefly drops and geek-culture news.
